Pave Diamond Heart Pendant
Q.The necklace was a simple open circle--basically the shape of the letter "O", and encrusted with diamonds. Melissa mentioned that it was by a company called "Wagner and Ko" and when Guiliana (ick) pressed her for purchase details, Melissa didn't know. Guiliana responded with, "I'm sure you could find it on the Internet, though!" Even though I can't stand those two gals, I was salivating over that necklace. This morning, I got a personal phone call from Anita Ko, one of the co-founders! She not only said that I could order from her, but that she would ship it out today. She was super friendly and seemed so grateful for my order. I was really touched and it made me feel good that the actual owners were still handling calls and sales. I ordered the small white diamond single circle necklace, and can't wait to get it. It's a nice alternative to the Tiffany open heart that I've been wearing for ages, and it's simple enough to go with everything. The only downside is that if this trend catches on, I have a feeling that cheap knockoffs (with rhinestones or czs) will be following close behind. Oh well, this is one piece of jewelry I was willing to invest in, and I can't wait to get it!!
A.saw the spot you were talking about Leilani, and I hate to be the one to tell you because they're lovely pendants, but Joan Rivers knocked off her version of it in Swaroski pave crystals and YG plating several months ago. Not to worry though, because JR's is so huge compared to the one you spotted and you'd never be able to tell that the circle pendant you mentioned was the inspiration. I'm guessing one of the shopnbc fine jewelry designers will have it knocked off in a reasonably close size by this summer and I can wait until then, but I'm very glad you were successful in tracking down a 'must possess' item
