Past Present Future Diamond PendantQ.Since I celebrate Christmas (albeit not in a religious way), I'm going to be politically incorrect and say "Merry Christmas!" If you don't celebrate Christmas... well, I hope you had a great day, anyway! We've had a very nice Christmas. My stepdaughters came over last night. Ten years later, it is hard to believe that we've finally reached the point where I can look back on an evening with them and smile... and yet, we have. They chose not to open their gifts until my kids arrived -- also a nice difference from past years. We all laughed, and had a nice evening. OSD and I started up a conversation about religion. I lent her some books. She said she wants to get together and talk more. Ten years ago, I never would have believed it. There is hope for people in blended families, who wonder if the holidays will ever stop being stressful. This morning we got up at a reasonable hour. Yay! The kids have gotten past waking at 5:00 a.m. We put on Christmas music, lit the tree, and unwrapped presents. DH made breakfast; I cleaned up. The kids were checking out their loot, so DH and I crawled back into bed for a snuggle, and feel asleep. So, how was everyone else's day? A.Well, I got an ankle bracelet (tiny box chain with a small gold heart on it), a circular jade pendant with the Chinese symbol for love in the middle (from our son. I told him his girlfriend can thank me later for teaching him early to buy jewelry :P ), a 'past, present, future' type pendant from our daughter, and a very nice plumeria with mother of pearl on it pendant from my husband. They were dispersed on the chains I already have holding pendants from past holidays. Very, very nice! I wish I enjoyed wearing jewelry more. Unfortunately, it slightly bothers me all day, and the first thing I do upon returning home is take it all off.... and other than my wedding rings and watch, I rarely wear any at all. BTW, I don't know if I mentioned it, but this year DH replaced the diamond in my engagement ring with tanzanite, which I love. That is one gemstone I will put up with the discomfort to wear. Other Questions : Tiffany Engagement Ring?I am thinking of getting the engagement ring, my plan is to buy at Tiffany's . Diamond Dog Tag Pendant. My 20-month-old male neutered Pembroke Corgi does something the breeder never heard of. He gnaws on the metal license tag and the plastic ID tag attached to his collar. Cut Diamond Ring Solitaire Trillion, Quickie Question(s) on Setting Gemstones.. ?I've been trying to find as much info as I can on gemstone setting. Engagement Ring Retailer, How to buy engagement ring?Having just started on my search for an engagement ring, I'm wondering, are the prices that the stores give you the list price?
