Marquise Diamond Engagement Ring
Q.He was wearing a wedding ring today. I am not the most observant person, but I don't think he normally wears a ring. He can't be married, he is Stephano's loyal servant!
A.Well, which hand and finger was the band on? I'll have to look more carefully. He's not the first guy to do this, however. I watch The Naked Chef (no, he's not cooking in the nude) on The Food Network sometimes and he wears a silver band on his wedding finger and he's not married. He has a steady girlfriend who often appears on the show, however. I just noticed it last week (on Jamie, the Naked Chef, not on Rolfe). I guess it's either for fashion or else it's a promise ring of some sort? I wear a Sapphire and a Marquise cut diamond stacked next to each other on my wedding finger and I'm not married. It's just the finger where both rings fit and look the best. Nobody ever asks about it unless I take the Sapphire *off*. In that case, they *ALWAYS* ask if I'm engaged when they see the diamond, which I find interesting, because nowadays young people are getting married and not always using a diamond anymore. I've seen people use Citrine Topaz and Sapphires (like in the style of Princess Di's) recently and heard on t.v. that it's a new trend with people in their late twenties and early thirties. Wow, when did they wed??!?! They're such a totally cute couple IMO. On the ones I saw about a month ago she was still his girlfriend. They must be showing some repeats? Thanks, I wondered about that ring of his! BTW, his last name is Oliver, I just couldn't remember it in my original post. I had a feeling they might be showing some repeats because he dyed his hair lighter and got it cut on an episode I saw last week. I like when he has Jay, from the band Jamiroquai on the show. I don't really like Jamiroquai's music, but Jay is a seriously cool guy with a neat personality, and he's such an amazing dancer!
