I swear, you take them more seriously than I think they do themselves. I think the vast majority of "satanists" take themselves with the proverbial grain of salt, but honestly, I am just speculating. I do imagine however that the person(s) who have put together the web sites are probably rabid anti-satanists (who probably believe more in satan than the followers themselves) or tongue-in-cheek advocates who just like to "pull the chains" of the readers. There is an important issue that should not be overlooked. There is one unavoidable prerequisite to becoming a satanist. One thing that has to be a "given." And that is, you have to firstly be a Christian! (Well, okay, maybe a Jew could pass.)
