Gold Ring Silver Toe?
Q.How is everyone doing lately? I hit the water one more time this weekend. I don't know how much longer the water will be warm - Plus it will be time soon to hit the corn fields and cellar holes, but I went to the beach again that I have been doing good with gold this year. I found a 14K gold Jesus ring, a silver toe ring, and a 14K gold mens bracelet. I found just under $2.00 in change.
A.Just got back from Maryland with some success. In three visits to Ocean City/Rehobeth Beach area found $58.00+ in clad. $11.00 in quarters in one spot near a umbrella rental shack. A 14K gold ring with aquamarine stone, a silver necklace with two small diamonds, two silver toe rings, a tongue stud [silver], several of the new ''gold'' dollars and a couple halves [clad]. Not too shabby considering they sweep the beaches daily. FYI I found if you scan the inside area of the tire tracks of the sweeper, on the low side you will find the coins there. Scan from tracks inward. How about others who have just returned from a detecting vacation? Sounds like a very successful trip. How many days did this spread over? I went out on Saturday and found 75 coins in what I thought was a very "unproductive" park. It was about a three hour trip, and my son and I had another great day of just hanging out and swinging the detectors. He's hooked real good now and calls me on Friday at noon to make sure I am going to want to go detecting on Saturday. We still haven't found any jewelry or good old stuff, but we still have a good time getting out and playing in the dirt. Sounds like a very successful trip. How many days did this spread over?
