Floating Diamonds Necklace .
Q.What exactly are floating diamond necklaces?
A.I think they are diamonds that hang on an invisible (clear) string and move back and forth- the clear string gives the diamond the "floating effect" I also have one ~ our computer guy was staring at mine also (he is SUCH a cutie) and asked me if it was a "trick necklace" .The pendant I got my spoose had a diamond floating in the center. I wouldnt be able to afford big ol diamonds .The ones I have seen arent like the Honora floating pearl necklaces, they are just pendants. So go to your local Claires or Afterthoughts or any other cheap jewlery store and get a necklace with a pendant you like (one where the cord goes through the pendant, not on a jump ring -- those would proabably look wierd because you would still see the jump ring) then string it on through clear fishing wire and attach the ends to some cheap clasp you can get at a craft store. Vintage pendants might also be nice on the wire. To get the tiered effect some of them have just do three pendants at different lengths of cord and tie them all to the clasp, or wear them separately together.
