Discount Diamond Necklace
Q.We have been drooling over the Micro-Cord necklaces as seen on Mira Sorvino, cover of November Mademoiselle and in numerous InStyle magazines, etc., etc. Does anyone know where we can get these gorgeous floating necklaces? (In person-Vancouver, British Columbia area; or online?)
A.Over Thanksgiving weekend I went to Marshall's and bought a fake diamond version of this kind of necklace (no way I could afford the real ones!). It came with a pair of matching earrings. All for $7.99. Looks like the real thing too! I love a bargain, and have gotten maney compliments on the necklace. I'm not sure if there's Marshall's in Canada, but a comparable designer discount store might be worth checking out; unless you really really want the real thing then maybe try one of the high end department stores? I have also bought some cheap fishing line and some pretty crystal beads and plan to construct a few for my friends, since it doesn't look too complicated - just another thing to try maybe
