A.Bless your heart! I bet that is the best Christmas present he could have given you!! I can't imagine how I'd feel if my husband didn't make it home for Christmas. My husband gave me 1/2 carat diamond earrings that I've been asking for for a year now. I wanted something to put in my 2nd set of holes that I could leave in forever. Now I just hope they don't make my ears hurt Diamonds are turning into college tuition in this household but I have to say I told him I didn't want any jewelry this year. Also they are a lasting gift that doesn't go in and out of style so I have the diamond pendant my parents made from my grandmother's earrings when I was 16, a pair of studs from our tenth anniversary, mom's engagement ring, and the pave diamond ring I got about 6 years ago.
