Q.I am pretty clear on it being Shoshu doctrine that the precepts no longer apply in Mappo, with exception the "Diamond Precept" of chanting daimoku, but what about other sects? How does HBS, Nichirenshu, etc., view the eating of meat, sexual restrictions (marriage by priests) and so on in Mappo?
A.On three other fingers I have some Black Hills Gold rings that were given to me as gifts from my husband and my children. I wear a diamond, ruby heart pendant necklace that was my husbands first anniversary gift to me and 3 pairs of modest posts in my ears.. I ordered the small white diamond single circle necklace, and can't wait to get it. It's a nice alternative to the Tiffany open heart that I've been wearing for ages, and it's simple enough to go with everything. The only downside is that if this trend catches on, I have a feeling that cheap knockoffs (with rhinestones or czs) will be following close behind. Oh well, this is one piece of jewelry I was willing to invest in, and I can't wait to get it!!
