Q.No the screw posts I'm talking about are different. They go with pierced ears. The screw part is attached to the earring. I remember my mother wearing those things you're talking about. I also remember her losing one every three and a half minutes. Knowing who makes them? I can't help you with that. I don't wear earrings, so I'm not into that sort of earring lore.
A.Many of my female friends are keen on the idea of me wearing an earring(s), one of them even offered to take me and hold my hand during the experience! I went back to H Samuels and they have a small gold hoop earring I can have my ears pierced with if I'd like. The girl that does the ear piercing even suggested I had the hoop at the bottom of my lobe and a diamond stud next to it. I personally like the look of two piercings in one ear, a stud above a hoop. Just don't go nuts and get six or eight all the way up to the cartilage. Hardly anybody on earth can pull that one off. Don't worry about what others think. Only one ear pierced looks very 80s, and I prefer the symmetrical look. I'm a straight UK male and I have both my ears triple-pierced, with small gold hoops at the bottom, diamond studs in the middle and small gold studs at the top.
