Diamond Dangle Earring.
Q.was really hoping some of my fellow a.fers might be able to help me. My daughter has requested I look for her some pretty dangle earrings while in NYC next week. She needs some that have a secure fastening since my grandson loves nothing better than to tug on earrings. I'm not so sure this will help alot, but she feels it might. So, do you know of anyone who sells a pretty dangle earring.. maybe chandelier type with a more secure backing? What are your favorite dangle/chandelier type earrings? She also likes art deco type dangles.. Any recs?
A.My second thought is that if there is someone tugging on her earrings, your daughter is better off having the earring fastener give way than having it hold fast--and having her ear lobe give way. I stopped wearing earrings and good necklaces around my kids until they were old enough to understand. A simple, stylish teardrop for a catch -- very dainty and daring at the same time. My earring collection will multiply with this wonderful design, and mix and match with the wardrobe is greater good fun with it ! ! .
