A.I would think that, given the secrecy, it is something either having to do with a lover or something "naughty." I would think that if Burrell dared to nick something like her charm bracelet, the Prince of Wales would be so outraged that he wouldn't care if it was known, as it would be further proof of Burrell's perfidy and behaving completely out of bounds (for there could be *no* justification for taking such an item, or something like the "Prince of Wales" diamond pendant. None whatsoever.) The piece of jewellery could be something as innocuous, and small material worth (comparatively speaking of course, it could have had enormous sentimental value to the late Princess, and because it was hers, would fetch a good sum) such as her famous "D" pendant and necklace, which she wore in her teenaged years. However, again, I cannot see why the witness would be so reluctant to describe something like that in open court, and if even he was, the judge would surely rule that something like that did not need such secrecy.
