Shelf-life of chandelier earrings?
Q.Just wanted the opinions of some more seasoned jewelry makers How long do you think chandelier earrings will be "the thing"?
A.love chandelier earrings. I don't actually have pierced ears, but if I did, those would be what I'd wear. Even if they die out as a fad, there will still be people who love and wear them. When that style is nearly impossible to find in stores due to the fact that they're no longer trendy, I imagine those looking for them will resort to ebay or other online places. Not everyone really follows the trends. I certainly don't, which is making it rather difficult to find things in stores that I'll wear. I've been contemplating either wrapping myself in sheets, toga style, or simply becoming a nudist (which may create problems at work and other public places) because the clothes for my age group are mostly so horribly ugly this year. I don't mind jewelry I like being hard to find, as if I can't make it, I can certainly find it online.
