Diamond Anniversary Rings/Bands ?
Q.Is there a specific anniversary the anniversary band is appropriate for? How is the anniversary band worn relative to the wedding ring and the engagement ring?
A.I've also seen those advertised as the Tenth Anniversary band, so I guess the 10th would be the appropriate anniversary. But, if my husband wanted to give me one on our first anniversary, I wouldn't tell him it wasn't appropriate. My SIL has an anniversary band and she wears it on her right ring finger. Depends on the wearer, though, because I've also seen them worn with the wedding bands. In my husband's family, where diamond rings are actually traditional and not just deBeers marketing, the diamond anniversary ring is given on the 50th anniversary and is worn on top of the engagement ring (so that as you move from hand to fingertip you see the wedding band, the engagement ring, and then the anniversary band).
