Q.One or more of you know that my lovely wife has spent the past week in Monaco with some of her girlfriends. They stayed with her friend's parents who are well connected. They attended a black tie charity event Saturday night, hosted by Ringo Starr.. My wife's friend, let's call her Stupid to protect the moronic, won a raffle, and she had her choice of a diamond necklace or an authentic Beatles jacket from Ringo's collection. Dumb bitch chooses the necklace. but maybe we should enter her in a Python-type Twit of the Century contest? Authentic Beatles Jacket From Ringo? Oh well, maybe she wasn't a Beatles fan?
A.I want to apologize to Stupid Friend. I got the facts screwed up. It was a charity event for the Princess Grace Foundation, and my wife didn't get to go, only her friend & parents. She didn't have a choice of prizes, she won a designer necklace from some Italian designer. Someone else won the jacket, autographed by all four Beatles. The lucky winner was the x-wife of Ernest Hemingway's grandson. She's probably never heard of The Beatlles. The picture in the paper is just of RIngo and a bunch of other wealthy folks.
