Cz Diamond Earring Stud.
Q.Last week I lost one of my pearl studs (this was in a telephone frenzy when I was trying to find out about my best friend who was giving birth two months early). Anyway the back of the earring fell down when I was in conference with a student and I realized I'd lost it. And even though I have pearls with little diamonds around them and diamond studs and some nice gold earrings . So I was just wondering, what seems indispensable to you all?
A.A pair of 1/3 ct. bezel set diamond studs that my grandfather gave my late grandmother. There's a story behind these that I've told before, but I'll tell it again: my grandma didn't have pierced ears, but my grandpa wanted to give her a pair of diamond earrings. He couldn't find a pair of real diamond clip-on earrings, so he bought her the niceest CZ clip-ons he could find, then bought these little studs too. He wrapped them in the same package, and was so proud that he had given her diamond earrings :) She wore the CZ ones with pride, and happily told people her dear husband had given her diamond earrings. My dear grandma left them to me, and I wear them just about every day. I'm wearing them now, I must have slept in them.
