Crystal Toe Ring?

Q.On the subject of toe rings, a girl I know has a permanent one that she got a few years ago at something called the Sawdust Festival where apparantly they make the band to fit your toe, wrap it around and, I guess, sauter it on. Looks really cool. I wish I knew more details about the process (and the place she got it done) but unfortunately no place I've ever gone to, no one I've ever spoken with has heard of this and I haven't seen the girl in years. Has anyone else ever heard of this?

A.The Sawdust Festival is an annual arts and crafts festival in Laguna Beach, California. It runs all summer, and is a few bucks admission. I haven't been there in 3 or 4 years, but there always used to be a toe ring booth among the paintings, pottery, live music, and other neat things :-) Laguna Beach is located south of Los Angeles, 6 miles down Pacific Coast Highway from Newport Beach. Any map of southern California should be able to help you. The best way to get information on the Festival is probably to call the Sawdust Festival Box Office (714)494-3030 (got this from information). If you make the trip, it's worth spending a few hours at the Festival wandering around. Also, if tickets can be had, the Pageant of the Masters, which shows on summer evenings in Laguna, is pretty cool. It's live re-creations of art, and locals spend all year working on it, so it's quite impressive. I don't know what process is used to make the rings "permanent", but I'm fairly sure they're not welded, as this would be difficult to do without burning your toe. Have a good time! If anyone wants more info on the Festival or Laguna (restaurants, whatever) feel free to write me. As far as the permanance of toe rings goes, I just got a new one yesterday, in a silver jewelry store in Staunton, Va. I squeezed my toe into it to try it on, and haven't been able to get it off since. Nope - it ain't comin' off unless I cut it off (the ring - not my toe). The ring slides easily, until it gets to the fatter end, just below my nail. I'm glad I like it. The new ring is the same width as the old one, so it fits into the indentation of four years walking around with a ring. This store - Silver Linings - also sells silver bands with tiny designs carved into them. I originally wanted a band, but couldn't find the right size. I'll try one other store I know of, in Charlottesville - Crystal Connection. When I told Dan I was looking for a band, he replied, "If I saw a silver band on your toe I'd jiz!" Why are men so very turned on? Of all the body parts for bondage - my toe? That much of a turn on?
