F color and I1 clarity Diamond

Q.I am not used to seeing this combination, how good will a diamond of this type look?? round cut .25 ct (in stud earings .50 ct tw) The are certified and in white gold

A.Color is very nice, clarity is terrible. Stone should be cheap, because it is basically a bad stone. Bad clarity will interfere with the brilliance of the stone, color will not. If you can afford it, get something decent. They are out there (though I doubt this set is) but that wasn't my point. My point was that a strictly graded I1 diamond is not necessarily an ugly stone. One of us certainly needs to learn to read for comprehension. At what point did I say anything about the stones in question being GIA certified? Nor did I "make things up". I just tried to make a point that you didn't get. Let me try again. "A GIA graded, quarter carat, F-I1, in an earring, of that size, is not necessarily a bad thing." To make it easier for you to understand my point, feel free to substitute 'strictly', for 'GIA' in that statement. I'm not sure I would go that far. Particularly in a .25 ct earring.
