Celebrity Engagement Ring, Is Camilla Wearing an Engagement Ring?
Q.That ring looks a lot like Diana's engagement ring, Camilla is wearing it on her left hand in place of her wedding band, and she did so at a wedding. Now how many of you are so naive to believe this is all just happenstance?
A.Regardless of the history behind Camilla's ring, it is in extremely poor taste to flaunt it if only because it will be an obvious source of speculation and controversy given the similarity to Diana's ring. She would have received a much better response had it been a H U G E diamond, surronded by rubies...or a Ruby surronded by diamond....or a ruby, diamond sapphire ring {red,white and blue to support Bush :)}...anything but what looks like a slap in the face to the dead woman whose husband she stole[ and like it or not, and truth or not, this is what most of the world believes] Stupid, trouble making Drama queen. I don't think CPB is wearing it to intentionally overshadow her niece, but that's the effect it's having. And I think she should have known that ppl would have seen it and commented on it. I think the fact that this is the first time it's been seen has a lot to do with the comments. If she wore the ring on a regular basis, ppl would ask about it, but her wearing of it to the wedding wouldn't be overshadowing the bride. It would be a "CPB is wearing that ring again" kind of thing instead of a "CPB has a ring on her engagement finger that looks a bit like Diana's!!!" kind of thing.
