2 Carat Diamond Earring .
Q.They're pretty, but not thousands of dollars worth of pretty. If I had to choose between a diamond and an equivalent dollar amount of CDs, I'd go for the CD's without blinking (stereo equipment -- now that's happiness!) What if I lost it/got mugged/hand eaten by a roaming bear?
A.I have picked out is a diamond - or three of them actually!! I've chosen a bridge setting with a 1/2 carat centre diamond and 1/4 carat on either side. The reason I chose diamonds was because I already have a solitaire topaz that was a 21st present from my parents. I just prefer not to have too many different colours, and I'm not going to take off all my other jewelry for my engagement ring. I'm also not a fan of the straight out diamond solitaires - the thing is, with the big ones after a while they get dirty and can look fake if they're not cleaned (not always, but sometimes).
