But please note that this posting is not some sort of authentication in any way. BTW, the magazine, "Elvis, An American Legend", which the "This was Elvis' Pendant" article is lifted from states that Aunt Delta had a TCB. (Supposedly sold for unbelievable $63.000!!!) I would've figured Elvis presented her with a TLC instead of a TCB...?
A.Each jeweler has/had subtle differences in their own making of the TCB, S&A had a very pointed lightening bolt, Hays had thick bolt. The chain evolved over time from a hand made chain to a machine chain, 24 inches in length. Some people added diamonds to the letters and the lightening bolts, some also had a clasp added to the chain. S&A are no longer in business though Greg Ablessor is still in business, he will from time to time make a special TCB or TLC. Lowell Hays is retired but his son Price continues the tradition, most of the TCB's in the market came from his. I own both a 1970 S&A and 1976 Hays as well as a Diamond Roberts TCB, laid on top of each other the only differences is the lightening bolts.
