1 2 Carat Diamond Stud Earring.
Q.I nearly fainted - he even thinks wedding rings are a foolish tradition. But, certainly notices when I am not wearng one - like, most of the time. I can't stand rings on when doing yard work, cooking, housework, piano, on the water.....I have to agree with him, in a sense, but I still like pretty things. Friend told me after seeing that movie about the diamond industry ("Blood Money" is it?), she'd never buy another diamond. Course, she has many diamond rings now and can 'afford' to feel that way.
A.I'm another person who isn't into jewelry. On a daily basis, I wear my wedding band and engagement ring (1/2 carat diamond) and pearl stud earrings. I also have a plain silver cross that I wear almost all of the time. I have three inexpensive necklaces that I wear fairly regularly. One is a celtic cross in silver on a silver chain. The second is a Maori symbol in steel on a black cord. The third is a lapis stone in a silver color setting that was purchased from a craft store that sold jewelry made by women in Guatemala. I also own some family heirlooms but they are rarely worn. I don't want or need anymore jewelry although I might feel inclined to buy another piece of craft jewelry they helps a woman support her family.
