1 2 Carat Diamond Earring.
Q.My mom left me her big diamond ring because I was the only one that liked the style. Only thing is I don't wear rings, just my simple wedding band. I have tried to wear that ring. The stone is big and makes it awkward for me so it sits in the bank box. My fingers are getting to the point the swelling makes wearing rings difficult anyway. I wonder if I should give that ring to a sister or just hold it for maybe one of my kids to use as a wedding ring. How do you women wear a mess of jewelry and not have it get in the way? It just doesn't work for my lifestyle
A.I have a 1/2 carat solitaire that was a birthday present and because it's dirty it looks like it's made out of glass.....maybe I should get that one checked out........ And I have picked out is a diamond - or three of them actually!! I've chosen a bridge setting with a 1/2 carat centre diamond and 1/4 carat on either side. The reason I chose diamonds was because I already have a solitaire topaz that was a 21st present from my parents. I just prefer not to have too many different colours, and I'm not going to take off all my other jewelry for my engagement ring. I'm also not a fan of the straight out diamond solitaires - the thing is, with the big ones after a while they get dirty and can look fake if they're not cleaned (not always, but sometimes).
